These sessions aim to promote the overall wellbeing of the individual by identify goals and strategies to address the client’s needs.
Counselling sessions generally are short-term and solution-focused to clarify issues for clients and to connect to personal strengths.
Psychotherapy sessions aim to address long-term issues, unhealthy patterns, and persistent mental health complications. This requires a greater number of sessions and a willingness to explore uncomfortable issues impacting the client in the present and from their past.
Sessions are tailored to the individual and these sessions will evolve with ongoing assessment of the client’s needs. Areas for counselling and psychotherapy include, but are not limited to:

Couples counselling can be a great supportive space for couples that are entering parenthood or navigating life transitions.
